On the 14th of December, 2019, OAO sold Custom THE CURVE 1 sneakers, collaborating with stensil artist Tsutomu Moriya at the Elephant Studio, Omotesando.

Tsutomu Moriya
Tsutomu Moriya was born in Kanagawa Prefecture, and his lineage comes from Suwa-shi Nagano Prefecture. After graduating Kuwasawa Design School, Moriya made his name designing CD jackets and Apparel Brands. Moriya has been expanding his field of activities as a stencil artist in recent years.
The Custom models, based on the white THE CURVE1 sneakers, had the words “No end to experimentation” stenciled on them. The words “No end to experimentation” come from Zaha Hadid, which THE CURVE 1 sneakers were also inspired by.
On the day of the event, Moriya stenciled every sneaker differently, customizing to each customer's preferences.
