Care of water-repellent and stain-resistant products

The water and stain-repellent treatment will remain effective for a long time if you follow the steps below.

Care after use or when it gets dirty

【If water-based dirt adheres to the】

Use a dry towel to dab the stain to prevent it from spreading.
If any dirt remains, pour tap water on it and then gently pat it with a dry towel to make it easier to remove.

【If mud stains are attached】

First, wait until the mud is completely dry. Once it's dry, use a brush to slowly remove the mud so it doesn't spread. Once it's mostly removed, pour tap water on it and wipe it off with a towel to get it clean.

【After wearing it on a rainy day】

If left in a damp state, the effectiveness of the coating will be lost. After using it on a rainy day, wipe off any water droplets and dry it thoroughly before use.

Depending on the specific usage situation and degree of dirt, the above measures may not be able to remove the dirt completely. For stubborn stains, soaking a cloth in This anhydrous ethanol and wiping it is effective, but if it still does not come off, please contact your local cleaning shop.

Regular care with lasting effects

The effects will last longer if you perform the following care once a month.

・Apply warm air from a hair dryer

When exposed to heat, the water-repellent components coated on the surface loosen again, then cool and rebond, increasing the effectiveness of the treatment once again. When using a hair dryer, please keep it 10-15cm away from the shoes to warm up the entire product as there is a risk of discoloration.

・Use a commercially available water repellent spray

If you use a water repellent spray regularly, it will combine with the coating ingredients and increase the water and dirt repellent effect. When using water repellent spray, please be careful of two things: use it outdoors and dry it naturally after use instead of using a hair dryer.
